How to give a gift? Well...in a box, or a bag with pretty tissue paper, and a card, usually, is how it's done where I'm from. Or just passed hand to hand at the right time, with a smile.

...there's an idea. You could write out a card explaining how you feel, what it's for, and leave it out somewhere only she could find it.
