57th Box [Accidental Video; Second Reset]

*The communicator flares to life with the image of Sai dragging a blanket behind him with a sleepy expression on his face.*

*He suddenly falls over backwards with a very loud scream, arching his body as the screaming continues. His body goes to start writhing on the floor and those hands reaches out to try and grab anything or anyone. He goes to start hitting his head against the floor as hard as he can as he screams and the feed cuts out.*


[ooc: Sai's second reset is a go! The same premise as the last one but in case you don't wish to dig it up here it is: There will be breaks between each memory wipe so he can respond to comments, just expect the screaming and shrieking to happen at any moment again. I'm sorry. [Dan murmurs, shifting to hold him better, more comfortably; the leather of his costume creaks as he does so.]

You look about fourteen. [Dan pets the boy's hair, hoping that touch will soothe him through this difficulty, maybe stave off the next fit for awhile.]

[He remembered when he was fourteen - a lifetime ago, now; he'd been awkward, clumsy, obsessed with birds and mythology.] Go ahead and sleep, if you want to. I'll stay. [And he would.]

*Leans into the petting and nods his head, letting out a soft chuckle.*

*He goes to close his eyes and idly gets more comfortable against the man. It wasn't long until his body twitches again and those eyes flew open with a pain filled scream.*

[Dan is vigilant, holding the boy around the shoulders until the fit passes or eases; the screaming rings in his ears.]

It's okay, Sai - shh -- [Does his best to calm the other; but he knows the moment he leaves, there will be more incidents. And he can't stay here forever.]

*Continues to scream even as he was held and the screaming and writhing fit doesn't last as long as the last one. Sai lets out a small gasp and just goes limp in his arms, panting for breath.*

Make it stop.... No more....

[Daniel rubs Sai's back in slow circles.] I wish I knew how. [Earnestly, feeling a lump in his throat.]

What is this illness?

*Half closes his eyes at the back rub and just whimpers.*

I don't know.... This illness seems to only be unique to only me.

Rest easy. [Dan's leaning against the wall now, legs straight out; Sai's across his lap, held with both arms. His ears are ringing a little from the screaming, but it's a small price to pay.]

I am sorry that you are suffering like this. It's cruel - once you are feeling better, we'll talk more and I will see what I can do. It's not my area of expertise, but someone in this city has to know something.

*He gets a little comfortable and looks up at Dan with both a sad and scared expression.*
