[It didn't take long for the beldam to whip up a rather nice soup and make her way to Sai's given location. Even with her chip in, she still knew how to coddle and she knew what young things liked. Most of the time. Stepping into the warehouse she gave a gentle call.]

Here I am, darling! Come out, come out, wherever you are!

*Sai was laying amidst corpses of various monsters. Organic bits scattered here and there. Fuzzy ears perked up at the sound of the familiar voice and Sai goes to sit up only to drape over the nearest corpse. Not quite up for getting up.*

*He lifts an over-sized sleeve covered hand and goes to wave it to signal where he is.*

[Other Mother doesn't even look twice at the corpses, merely brightens and steps over the pieces daintily, stooping to crouch next to Sai.]

There you are, dear! I'm going to keep my voice soft so it doesn't make your head hurt any worse, how's that?

[She offers the container of soup to him with a cheerful smile.]

See, I brought you something nice.

*Pale blue eyes goes to watch her as she moves towards him. His ears and tail perks up as she crouches and speaks softly.*

*He lifts a hand to accept the container and goes to sniff at it.*

I thought that you would look different then you do.

[Other Mother's eyebrows go up in surprise and she secretly curses that damn chip.]

*The buttons eyes are... Unique to even the shape-shifter. But she isn't as creepy looking as he thought that she was.*

[Watches him happily and primly puts her hands in her lap, still crouching next to Sai.]

*He finds that the soup was good enough to full out start drinking it, slowly wagging his tail. Sorry Other Mother, he is too busy enjoying the soup to properly respond.*

[Other Mother just watches happily. It's been ages since she's gotten to dote on anyone properly.]

*Sai goes to finish the soup and goes to lick at the container to get every last drop of soup out, idly wagging his tail slowly. He doesn't feel guilty in the slightest for using Other Mother to take care of his current needs. He's scared, hurting and lonely which is the only reason why he is tolerating the other's presence.

After finishing the soup, he shifts a little to go and fully stretch himself, ears and tail included in the stretch. He then goes back to draping over a corpse and goes to look towards Other Mother with half closed eyes. Semi sleepy due to the warm soup and having company to stay with him.*

[Other Mother reaches out and gently pats Sai's head before folding her hands in her lap again.]

Would you like me to stay, dear? Or should I go?

*Sai goes to lean into the pats and frowns when she pulls her hand away.*
