*The communicator flicks on to show the current resident Manthra finishing his rounds of delivering gifts for White Day. He blinks and one of his ears starts to flick a little at the sound of cooing. He stops to look around as the sound of cooing becomes louder and at once his ears lay flat against his head.*

Just... Why are those birrrds staring at me like that and why are there so many of th-!!!

*He wasn't able to finish his questions as a group of the bird goes to swoop in to start pecking at him. Communicator is dropped in favor of holding another item protectivly close to himself as he goes to run as the communicator times out.*

Do you really think I would let myself stand back and remain an observer, Xi? [She clicks off the communicator. Her voice is less lighthearted than normal. YOU KNOW SHE'S BEING SRS BIZNESS. SHE IS NOT A BAD AUNTIE. SHE IS GOING TO SAVE YOUR BUTT.

And after several minutes, Rika appears, charging towards the group of birds and swinging around... a mop?! She ran all this way from Marshall Apartments just to get to you, Xi.]

-There's a rush of wind as Tir twirls Heaven Fang to chase off a few of the birds, having heard the whole commotion from down the road.-

I mean, look at this. This is one handed!

*Those ears twitches as both the sound and scent of Rika appears. Sai risks a peek and quickly moves closer to Rika, dropping the package he was carrying.*

Auntie?!

*He blinks as Tir appears but goes to make himself a meat shield to protect his chibi Auntie.*

TIR! You're here! [And does she sound relieved to hear that her big brother figure is nearby. She only manages to chase off and knock back a few birds on her own, but a small girl like her would grow easily sore from swinging a mop around.]

...mi- mii. Xi. Move! [She stops swinging her mop for a moment to try to move around Sai. She doesn't want to hit him. And come on. She wants to fight the birds too!]

-Tir swats away a few more of the birds, the constant motion of Heaven Fang greatly discouraging them from fluttering about.-

*That is Tir?! Sai blinks in wonder before shaking his head.*

No, Auntie! *He isn't going to let you hurt yourself! He goes to try and scoop her up into his arms in order to hunch over her. He is more then willing to risk any grumps from her later.*

[Rika lets out a tiny yelp as she's scooped up. Her small stature is such a drawback. And oops, she dropped her mop on the ground. For a moment, she squirms around in Sai's grip and stops. ...She'll trust Tir to take care of the birds. He does have skill in fighting, after all.

Reaching up, she tugs lightly on Sai's clothing. She can't really see what's going on around her when he's hunched over her like this.]

Xi? Are they still pecking you? Is Tir okay?

-Meanwhile, Tir isn't having trouble at all with the birds. The Roc's back home were far more dangerous and aggressive, after all. He managed to drive the majority of them back to their roosts.-

*He goes to offer Rika a smile when he felt the tugging.*

*A quick glance towards Tir.*

Yes, it seems like it.

*He blinks as a lot of the pecking and scratching stops. He remains hunched over to keep on shielding Rika, offering her a deep rumbling purr coming from his chest.*

[It sounds a lot quieter now that Tir drove the birds away. That should mean it's probably safe now. Rika wiggles around from under Sai, giving him another light tug.]

Mi- mii. Uhm. It should be safe now, right? Xi can stop now...

*Sai waits a couple more moments before carefully and gently setting Rika back down to her feet.*

*His face is filled with scratched as well as his ears and some skin is missing due to the pecking.*

Mii. I am fine. Thank you, Tir...

[She smiles meekly, nodding her head. Thanks to Tir and Sai, Rika only has a few, tiny scratches. Nothing serious. The scratches are barely even visible. Turning around, a look of shock appears on her face once she sees Sai's injuries. Shaking her head, she immediately grabs Sai's hand.]

We- we need to get Xi patched up! Do you have a first aid kit? Do we have to go to the hospital?

I've got some salve for small cuts. Rika, think you can hold Heaven Fang for a bit?

*He goes to let out a slow sigh of relief. Good, Rika was safe. He makes a small startled sound as she grabs his hand and he goes to look down at her.*

I-I-I-I will be fine! Rrrreally!

*He gains a panicked expression at the mentioning of going to the hospital.*

*Not going to calm down anytime soon at the mere thought of going to the hospital. Even the gentle squeeze and smile isn't really calming him down. Hospitals are bad because doctors are there! And doctors are bad people.

The scratches were showing signs of healing on their own as his body goes to repair itself.*
