*The communicator turns on to transmit the voice of a young sounding boy. Those who have met the boy before would know the voice right away, others... Not so really~*

*A small pause.*

*Another pause.*

[A sharp gasp. Pain shot through him rather suddenly as soft fingers shifted into blades. It made short work of the thick cassock and coat, and easily shredded into flesh.]

Gkt!

[He clutched the small body to him, eyes wide in surprise... and confusion, blood trickling from the partially open lips.]

*Ah~ How long has it been since he last heard that sound. He couldn't help but to smile even more and after one last push, he goes to ever so slowly, remove his hand, spreading his fingers out inside of Abel to give him more pain.*

*And he continues to hug Abel, smiling and goes to coo into the other man's ear.*

You... Know too much and you are so interesting that I couldn't help myself. The game is still being played and I am winning~

[His knees gave out, the only support was Sai now. ... Where was Xi? Lehko? ... Who was this?]

X.... Xi...

[He was slipping, his hands slowly losing their grip on the boys form.]

Shh... Shh~ You won't die right away... We have more games to play~

*He couldn't help but to start laughing, feeling the grip weakening and he goes to lift the bloodied hand to start licking at the blood.*

Your cells... They are not human.

*And here, he will try to give Abel a kick in the gut to try and keep the priest awake.*

[Actually, Abel wouldn't die at all. He wasn't entirely sure that he could. Wordlessly, he slipped to the ground, blood slowly pooling around him.

... To only a point.

Sluggish and starved as they were, the nanos moved into action. No need to lose a perfectly good host. It was such a pain to find another one.

As Sai spoke, the blood began to seep back, small red tendrils seeking out the hosts body, slipping back in through the cut made as the fallen priest wheezed at the blow to his stomach.]

*And those pale eyes widen as they watch the blood seeping back to Abel.*

..... How interesting.

*Sai's eyes shine with a crazed light as soon bloodlust can be felt from him.*

So if I cut you open and see your insides, I can find out what and who I really am!

*He squeals out like a little kid in a candy store and attempts to sit on Abel.*

[This wasn't his child. This wasn't the boy he'd spoken to when he'd first arrived. This wasn't the boy he adopted, nor was this his little girl.

Where had they gone?

So horribly confused, betrayed... There was a dull groan as Sai took a seat on him, the torn muscles and skin knitting themselves quickly back together as the flesh sealed up tight, as if nothing had ever happened.

He couldn't leave Sai here like this though. His Sai, Xi, Lehko was still in there. Abel would no sooner abandon her to that than he would leave her in a burning building.]

Who are you?

*This man.... He was so monstrous and yet, like him that Sai couldn't help but to start giggling even more.*

I want to see them. I have to see your insides, your cells.

*He goes to tilt his head, giggling even more.*

I don't even know myself. I know nothing about myself. I don't know why my body settles into this shape, ne do you know mister?

But... One thing I do know....

*And here, he leans close enough to be right in Abel's face.*

I am.... What you are afraid of... Scared of... Kaitou X.

*And here, he goes to coo out these next words.*

[There was a pause... before a sad, mournful smile slowly spread across the priests face.]

I know my little girl is here. I know my boy is in there too.

... And I know... You're not what I'm afraid of. [The laugh that escaped him was mirthless and dry, even as his eyes began to sting]

You're not even close.

[One hand moved to cup the boys cheek lovingly]

... I love you. With all my heart. Xi. Lehko. Kaitou. And I always will, no matter what face or name you give me. You are... my little girl. My boy. You always will be.

[There was a small movement. Just a second long... And Sai might find his perch was in motion. Fast and powerful, it would be like trying to hold on to a wild horse in motion as the priest quite suddenly twisted, trying to knock the smaller body from him to escape]

*Confusion strikes as he listens to Abel and watches his flow.*

... You are not making any sense.

*He was about to say something else but then those pale eyes widen at the touch. What is wrong with this person? No one.. NO ONE touches him like this besides Ai.

Still in shock at the touch, he was easily thrown off of the priest.*

[That freedom meant Abel was on his feet again. The nanomachines wailed their rage and exhaustion at him as he bolted for the door, a blur of silver and black.

He had to contact someone else who knew Sai, Xi. He needed help. She needed help!]

*And there goes his prey! Sai quickly scrambles to his feet, quickly changing his fingers into spears to thrust after Abel in hopes of piercing a leg.

He goes to let out a yell of frustration as he misses the priest and Abel successfully escaped from him.*

The game isn't over. I will see them, Abel Nightroad.
