[He tsks and watches her carefully. Well...he wasn't going after Sicks, just going to get Xi.

*Well, she isn't going anywhere. Her amber eyes never leaving the image of the man and his mumblings. She does risk a slight movement, ready to run or attack. Who knows but now... Now she isn't even going to breathe and holding her breath.*

[Leo pauses at the windowsill to take in the scene. It looks like the man is only another of those illusions. He tsks at the thought of this specter still haunting Xi, but at least he wouldn't be breaking his promise.

He brings he sword out and slashes at the figure and if it fades he's heading straight for Xi.]

*Xi never moved from her spot even as Leo appeared. The illusion disappears at the slash. Xi's eye finally notices Leo, her face still have-covered by her hair. She stumbles forward a little and her eye goes to close as her body goes to try and pass out on her.*

Leo sheathed his sword with one hand and moved forward to catch Xi with the other. He ignores how easily the illusion vanished and focuses more on the girl in his arms.

"Xi...come on, stay awake. It's gone. It wasn't real."

Xi was limp in his arm for a moment before lifting a hand to find his should and grab unto it for support. Her body shaking as much as it could and her eye looks up at his amber ones.

"Leo...?"

Using him as support, she straightens herself up, frowning a little. "Don't like it. Don't like him."

He let out a small breath, smiling lightly when she spoke, "I know. IT wasn't real this time...you can relax."

Except that...something was off. He wrapped his arms around her to steady the small shaking body. He was in an odd kneeling position but, it gave him a good view of her face.

His hand went to her cheek, rubbing his thumb lightly over her skin before pushing her hair the side. The empty socket that gazed back at him made his heart sink.

"...your eye" He passed his hand over the empty hole before glancing at the good eye, "W-what happened?"

No... She didn't want him to find out. She couldn't help but to lean into his hand a little, her good eye half-closing at the light rubbing.

She goes to slowly reopen her eye, lifting both of her hands over his to keep it there. "Made an offer.... But it was refused...."

She wanted to fix things... So that everyone could be happier...

He can't help but stare, feeling the small hands over his own. It was hard to look away; even though he knew she would be fine it...was jarring. Two people he cared about, staring at him with empty eyes. He didn't know they were connected yet, for now it was enough to know that Raph and Xi would be so visibly changed.

She keeps the eye contact as much and as long as he wants to. Xi goes to let out a soft sigh before moving her hands from his to his head, cradling it for a moment before trying to coach it to her bosom, bowing her head.

She didn't want him to find out. She was planning to avoid him until it heals.

"It was my choice Leo... It was mine. It seems like a foolish choice now..." Cause Leo is sadden by this and she couldn't help but to feel sad as well. "It was my choice. It was mine and mine alone... To fix what I have done."
