You know, it's starting to get really annoying with all of these 'holidays' to celebrate the ones that gave you life. I don't even know who are my birth parents if I even have such. But I am glad to have met the one that has become my Momma but I feel bad that I couldn't celebrate that before Mother's Day.

What is the purpose of such useless holidays? There is no flow to them for me to read.

Well, when you think about it, there's a lot of universes that we come from. That means different cultures and different holidays. That's why there's so many, it seems! It doesn't mean you need to get all cynical about them.

I don't know what Father's Day is. But it looks like a day to honor your father, which is a dead giveaway, I bet.

I know how hard to can be not having a real parent around.

Still, even if you have a single loved one, it's nice to spend this time together with them, even if it's a celebration day for fathers. Just use it as an excuse to be happy about something else if it doesn't appeal to you.

I am either lucky or misrable. I can never decide which. But at least I have Okaa-san now. Though the one I was about to see as a dad betrayed me and then vanish.

Why don't you try your best to look positive even when your sad? That way, you can change the attitudes of those around you. I have to do the same thing quite often... and I'm sorry to hear about losing your father figure.
